She used to save a certain amount of money each month to ensure a peaceful life in the future. Her income was extremely dear to her. A few of her known people decided to go on a pilgrimage one day. Despite being concerned about her small fortune, she decided to join them on the journey. She was not interested in carrying so much money or leaving it unattended. Finally, the poor woman decided to seek advice from a wise man. Sage said he wouldn’t do anything with that money, but when she insisted, he told her to bury it in his ashram and said he couldn’t be held responsible. She buried the money and went on the pilgrimage. When she got back, she immediately went to the sage’s “ashram” to get her money back, but when she dug in the spot where she had hidden it, she was shocked to find nothing. There was no money anywhere. Because the wise man had already abdicated any responsibility for it, she sought Birbal’s assistance because she could not blame him. Birbal came up with a plan after hearing her story, and he sent two of his guards to the sage to ask for help with their wealth. One of the soldiers asked the sage to conceal his brother’s fortune as he left town. The elderly lady also visited the saint and inquired about the saint’s wealth. This time, the wise man hurriedly showed the elderly lady where the money was because he was concerned that he might lose the large fortune for the small amount she owed. The second soldier appeared shortly after she received her wealth back, announcing that the brother was back in town and that the first soldier did not need to conceal his treasure. As a result, the sage of fraud lost everything.
