December 5, 2022July 16, 2023 The Crow and The Peacock Story There was a crow living in a forest and was completely satisfied in life. One day, he saw a swan. He thought that the swan is so white and he was so black. Swan must be the happiest bird in the world. The crow shared his thoughts with swan. The swan replied that actually it was feeling that she was the happiest bird until she saw a parrot that has two colors. She now thinks that parrot is the happiest bird in the entire creation. Then the crow went to the parrot and shared his thoughts. The parrot explained that she lived an awesome and happy life until she saw a peacock. While the parrot has only two colors, the peacock has multiple colors. After hearing the words of the parrot, the crow approached a peacock in the zoo and saw that many people had gathered to see him. After everyone had left, the crow went to the peacock and said, “Hey peacock! You are so much beautiful. Thousands of people come to see you everyday. When people see me, they shoo me away immediately. You must be the happiest bird on the earth.” The peacock replied that she always thought the same but due to the beauty, she was entapped in the zoo. She had seen the zoo very carefully and realized that the crow is the only bird that is not kept in a cage. So, since past few days, she was thinking that if she was a crow, she could happily roam everywhere! Which is the happiest bird now? Please comment your opinion! Moral of The Crow and The Peacock Story We also make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad. We do not value what God has given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness. So, learn to be happy in what you have instead of looking at what you don’t have. There will always be someone who will have more or less than you have.
