A Mother’s Selfless Sacrifice

Sudha Devi was a journal reporter who worked for several news channels. She was talented as well as a very beautiful, gorgeous lady.

Sudha was married to an aged man who didn’t have any permanent job. She was the only one in her family who worked hard to earn a livelihood. Her husband didn’t work properly and hence lost his job.

Sudha Devi had a small daughter named Isha. When Isha was five years old, she lost her father in an accident. This incident did not affect Sudha Devi as she was the only one who worked hard to earn money every day.

Sudha Devi loved her daughter more than anything. She pampered her and tried to fulfill all her wishes. Sudha never let her daughter realize the absence of his father.

Even after going to work and completing all her household work, she managed to give time to her daughter Isha. She used to teach her and look after her so well. Each of her relatives praised her for handling Isha so well.

As usual, Isha went to school on her annual function day. She was in a dance group and was ready to perform on stage. She was all decked up and was looking quite pretty. She was quite tense about her performance, but she did perform well.

But immediately after her performance, Isha fell ill and fell on the stage after her performance. Her mother, Sudha, panicked a lot and ran to her for help. Everybody tried to bring her sense back by sprinkling water drops but of no use.

Finding no other options, she took her to a government hospital. The doctor tested her and informed her mother that she needed a kidney transplant. Isha had a damaged kidney which was not in a condition to function anymore.

The news shattered Sudha Devi. She was a single mother with none beside her to help in that situation, and it costs a huge amount of money for a kidney transplant.

Sudha devi promised to arrange all the money within five days to proceed with the surgery. She pleaded and asked for help from her relatives and neighbors. But only a few of them helped with some amount of money.

The amount of money that she could arrange was not enough. Sudha decided to sell all her gold ornaments and arrange the rest of the money for her daughter. She was not ready to lose her daughter at such a young age.

Sudha sold all her jewelry and somehow managed to get the required amount for her. Sudha was fond of gold ornaments. She used to love wearing those. But for her daughter’s life, she sacrificed everything and didn’t even have a second thought before selling them. Isha’s life was precious to her.

After managing the money, she rushed to the hospital. Isha’s surgery proceeded, and she got a new life.

Sudha almost lost everything while arranging the huge amount of money. She put all her funds and savings into it. A mother loves her child endlessly. She is the one who can go beyond anything to protect her child.
