Jassy’s Journey To Happiness

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Once there lived a small boy named Jassy who was fond of toys. Every day, he dreamt of new toy cars and remote control cars. He was not only fond of cars, but he also loved musical toys which made noises.

Jassy requested his father to give him a new toy on every birthday. Even on Christmas eve, he used to get a new toy from Santa. On every occasion, he wanted toys and was addicted. He was fond of various kinds of toys.

One day, Jassy went to Mittal, who is his age and his very close friend. He saw more toys in his room. Mittal had many more collections of toys than him. Jassy gradually became sad and approached him, “Mittal, you have so many toys! Much more than me! You are the luckiest kid in this world!”.

But Mittal didn’t agree with him. Instead, he replied, “No, my dear Jassy, these toys are nothing. Mannu has more toys than me. And he has 17 remote control cars!” On the spot, he decided to visit Mannu the next day.

On the very next day, he went to Mannu and asked him, “You have 17 remote control cars, right?” Mannu said, “Yes, and I have 16 robots that are also remotely controlled.”

Jassy said, “Oh wow. You have so many toys, then. You are the luckiest kid to have so many toys. Please show me someday.” But Mannu responded, “I have fewer toys than Katt.” However, he has more collections of toys and remote-controlled toys. He even has a unique airplane that is remote-controlled.

Jassy again decided to visit Katt. On visiting Katt, he saw a room full of toys. Katt had a separate room for toys and separate shelves for each variant of toys. Jassy got shocked by sight. He had never seen so many toys before.

Jassy asked Katt, “Will you please show me your remote-controlled airplane?” Katt said yes and gave him his airplane. Not only an airplane. He had a remote-controlled helicopter too. Each toy in Katt’s room was unique and interesting. Jassy liked them very much. They began to play together for two hours. When Jassy was about to return home, he stood up and said, “Katt, you are the luckiest kid to have every unique toy in your room.”

Katt started weeping, and he said that he might be called the unluckiest as he was rewarded with all these various toys because his parents are very strict, and they never let Katt get out of their house and play in the field with his friends. Katt never played cricket or football. But, he was fond of football. He was provided with so many toys that he didn’t leave his house.

On the other hand, Katt said he is not fond of many toys. He doesn’t want them. All he wants is to go out and play with his friends.

Jassy thought that he was the luckiest one. As he had both toys, he also could go out and play with his friends in the evening. Finally, Jassy got satisfied with everything he got.

Moral of Jassy’s Journey To Happiness Story

Be satisfied with the things you have got in your life. Obtaining extraordinary things may destroy your inner peace.
