The Blue Jackal Story

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

There was once a daring jackal who frequently entered the village in search of food. The jackal was terrified by the number of dogs in the village. The jackal was fond of food and frequently visited the city, despite his fear of dogs.

At some point, as he planned to go into a house, he heard yelping. The sight of a group of dogs charging toward the house shocked him. The jackal became anxious because they appeared violent. He ran and tumbled into a tub of blue color. The dogs ran away because they couldn’t see him.

From head to toe, the jackal was now completely blue. He showed up altogether different from some other creature. Since no one would be able to identify the jackal and he could easily fool anyone in the jungle, the jackal was pleased. Everyone in the jungle was taken aback to see such a strange animal, as he had anticipated.

The lion, the tiger, and the small animals all inquired about his identity and who had sent him.
God himself has sent me to take care of you. I will currently be the ruler of the wilderness” The jackal said.

The lion protested, claiming that he had always been the forest king.

The Jackal smiled and said, “That must change, and all of you must serve me.”

The tiger, for example, voiced their displeasure and inquired about the consequences of their disobedience. He replied that if they didn’t, God would destroy the jungle as a whole.

Frightened for their lives and their wilderness, the creatures asked the blue Jackal what he would like them to do.

The blue jackal immediately demanded, “Bring me a lot of food.”

The scurrying animals quickly returned with plenty of food for the jackal. He had such an excess of food that he gave his extras to different creatures and let them know that they needed to serve him new food consistently.

He even drove the pack of jackals out of the forest because he was afraid that they might one day recognize him.

The blue jackal was content to be away from the city dogs and was pleased with himself for fooling the entire forest.

However, the forbidden pack of jackals was heard howling loudly as they moved through the forest one day. Out of habit, the blue jackal also began howling.

The other animals quickly recognized him as a jackal and killed him as a result of this error.

Moral of The Blue Jackal Story

Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be who you are.
