The Old Man and The Little Cat Story

One day an old man went to the forest near his village for relaxation. He was walking in a forest and suddenly saw a little cat stuck in a hole. The poor cat was unable to get out how much ever it tried.

Observing that, the old man gave his hand to get the cat out. But the cat scratched his hand with fear. The old man took off his hand, screaming with pain. Still, he tried to give his hand to the cat repeatedly.

Another man who was crossing by watched the scene and screamed with surprise. He said, “Stop helping this cat, for God’s sake. He will get out by himself.”

The old man did not care about him and continued saving the cat until he succeeded. Then, he went to the other man and said, “Dear, It is the usual nature of a cat to scratch and hurt. And, it is my nature to love and care.”

Treat everyone around you with your ethics, not with theirs. Always treat people the way you want to be treated by them.
