February 14, 2023July 16, 2023 Actions Speak Louder Than Words “Actions Speak Louder Than Words” is a common phrase we have all heard at some point in our lives. It’s a reminder that what we do is often more impactful than what we say. Let’s get into the story! Mr. Manish is an organization manager. He runs a company that raises funds for orphan children. Manish was a man with a golden heart. Since his childhood, he has loved to help people who are in need. He used to donate things to poor people to help old age homes. When he was established, he fulfilled his dream of having an organization that helps poor children. He is the one who always teaches children and his neighbours to help others, and he directs others to always donate to different NGOs and organizations. He was a man who always kept his promise and used to visit the orphan home every day after his office hours. He used to work in a corporate firm and had his own organization. One day a small little girl came up to him. Manish was on his way to his work. He stopped when the girl came and asked him for money to eat and have something heavy. Manish got emotional and took her along with him after enquiring about her locality and whether she was the one who was alone without her parents. He took him to his orphan home and visited her every day. He felt a connection with her. However, she was unknown to him. Manish had no family. He was a bachelor, so the orphan children were everything to him. One day, a businessman challenged him to arrange a big fest for all the orphan children from each locality. Manish happily grabbed the challenge. The businessman thought he would be unable to do so or would not accept the challenge as it would be a huge cost for him to arrange a feast for every child. Manish, without hesitating, organized a big feast and announced it in every locality of his city. He was very happy to arrange it for them. Everyone in the city knew Manish and liked him for his work. Everyone was impressed by his work. The businessman was his neighbour, and he was jealous of his work. When he saw everybody praising Manish, he didn’t like it. To defeat him again, he again challenged him publicly. This time, he asked him to arrange a campaign where every elderly person will get winter stuff, including a blanket and sweater. He thought, this time, Manish wouldn’t be able to arrange it because immediately after investing money in a program, he would be at a loss. Manish, for a few hours, was stressed, but he was a man who always kept his promise. His actions were exactly what he preached. To arrange the campaign, he took a loan from his bank and, at last, successfully conducted it. Being a man who worked in a corporate firm, it is difficult to arrange a huge amount of money. But he did it without any second thought, just to help people and show his neighbour that his actions and promises were not fake.
