The Bear and The Monkey’s Friendship

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A big bear and a mean monkey were best friends and lived in a jungle. They used to have a lot of fun together and were always together. The monkey tried to imitate the bear at all times. He desired to imitate him.

One day, while the bear and the monkey were sitting together, the monkey started to imitate him. He carried out the bear’s actions exactly. The bear asked the monkey, “My dear friend, why are you imitating me?” after noticing the monkey.

“Bear, you are so strong and big. I want to become like you,” the monkey replied. The bear then said, “My friend, you are active and energetic, and you are also awesome.” Do not consider who I am.

The bear spotted a large pot of honey close to the mango tree at that very instant. The bear quickly left and took the honey pot. The bear was overjoyed and thought he would have a great time playing with it. He began to lick the honey-filled hand.

The bear offered the monkey some honey. The monkey received some honey from the bear. The honey was so delicious that the monkey begged the bear for more.

He was satisfied with the bear’s assertion that monkeys do not consume honey. In order to keep the honey safe, the bear took the pot and hid it in his den. This greatly disappointed the monkey.

The bear didn’t give the honey to the monkey because he thought the honey was the key to the bear’s strength. To become as strong as the bear, the monkey decided to consume a lot of honey. He sneaked quietly into the bear den and took the honey pot.

The bear and monkey used to get together every day, but that day the monkey didn’t show up to meet the bear. As a result, the bear went to the monkey’s house to check on him. The monkey was having trouble with his stomach.

The bear realized what the monkey had done when it saw an empty honey pot. The pain-stricken monkey wept and said, “I just wanted to be like you, bear.”

The bear replied, “You cannot just copy me to be like me.” Only bears can digest honey after eating a certain amount. I gave you a small amount of honey as a result.

The bear immediately called a doctor, and the monkey ended up in the hospital. The monkey realized his mistake and never attempted to imitate anyone in his life.

Moral of The Bear and The Monkey’s Friendship Story

Each person is unique in their own way. It can be very harmful to try to be like someone else by blindly copying them.

While it’s okay to admire and learn from others, blindly imitating them without understanding the full picture can lead to harmful consequences. It’s important to stay true to oneself and embrace one’s unique qualities and strengths.
