Fake Friends: Story of Hare’s Experience

A hare once lived in a forest and was extremely friendly to all other animals. He was generous and always willing to assist those in need. He was adored by the other animals and enjoyed his great popularity.

He took a day off to rest. He suddenly felt like a pack of hounds was approaching him. Upon hearing that, the hare thought to flee that location and began to run. He ran until he was unable to continue running. He sat down by the roadside to rest when he got tired.

He felt hopeful when he saw a horse passing by shortly after that. The hare approached him and requested assistance, “My friend! I’m being pursued by dogs. Please transport me to another location on your back.”

Horse said, “Sorry, I am in a hurry, but look, there is your friend’ bull,'” as it became afraid. The horse said, “You should ask him for help,” and fled.

“Please help me, friend, please take me on your back and help me escape from hounds,” a hare yelled as she ran toward the bull for assistance.

I’m sorry, but I can’t help. I’m going to join my group, but I see your friend ‘goat’ there. Saying, “Ask him to help you,” the bull left the scene.

The hare begged for assistance and ran toward the goat, but even the goat gave an excuse and left.

The next time the hare came across a sheep and asked him for help. But the sheep said, “Sorry, my friend, right now I am very weak, and I would only be a hindrance rather than help.” However, I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to save yourself.

We should reconsider making friends. While making friends, you should examine which friends are good and which are bad.

“Fake friends” – one should be cautious about who they consider being their friends. People who appear to be friends during good times may not be there for us when we really need them, and it is important to distinguish between true friends and those who are only pretending to be friends.
