Helping Hands Story

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In a village, there lived a poor family. There was a small boy named Vishnu. One day, he walked through the forest to get wood to cook food.

On the way back, the boy saw an old man who was very hungry. Vishnu wanted to give him some food. Since he did not have any food of his own at that time, the boy continued on his way.

After walking further, he saw a very thirsty deer. The boy wanted to give him some water, but he did not have water for himself. So, he continued on his way ahead.

Later, Vishnu saw a man who wanted to make a campfire but did not have wood. The boy asked about his problem and gave him some wood that he had. The man gave Vishnu some food and water in return.

Now, Vishnu went back to the deer and gave her some water. He also went to the old man and gave him some food. The old man and the deer felt pleased, and Vishnu went happily on his way.

One other day, when Vishnu went to the forest, he fell from the hill. He was having pain and could not move. No one was there to help him.

In a few minutes, the old man whom the small boy had helped earlier saw him, came quickly, and pulled Vishnu up the hill. He has many wounds on his legs. The deer whom the boy had given water saw his wounds. The deer went into the forest and brought some herbs quickly. His wound got covered in some time.

All were happy as they could help each other in tough situations.

Moral of the Helping Hands Story
