October 2, 2023October 2, 2023 Keeping The Roots More Grounded Some time ago, two neighbours were living close to one another. One of them was a resigned educator, and one more was a protection specialist who had a ton of interest in innovation. The two of them had established various plants in their nursery. The other neighbour who was interested in technology had given his plants a lot of water and cared for them too well, while the retired teacher only gave his plants a small amount of water and didn’t always give them full attention. The plants of the retired teacher were straightforward but attractive. The plants of the insurance agent were much fuller and greener. Due to a minor storm one day, there was heavy rain and wind at night. Both of the neighbours came out the following morning to look at the damage to their garden. The neighbour, who worked as an insurance agent, saw that his plants had completely withered from their roots. The retired teacher’s plants, on the other hand, were unharmed and unmoved. Surprised, the neighbour’s insurance agent approached the retired teacher and inquired, “We both grew the same plants. I actually looked after my plants better than you did for yours and even I did give them some more water. In any case, my plants fell off from the roots, while yours didn’t. How could that be possible?” The retired instructor grinned and said, “You offered your plants more consideration and water, but due to that, they didn’t have to work themselves for it. You made their lives easier. At the same time, I gave them simply a sufficient measure of water and allowed their underlying foundations to look for more. Their position was also strengthened as a result of their deeper roots. Because of this, my plants survived.” Moral of Keeping The Roots More Grounded Story This story is about raising children in a plant-like environment. They won’t know how hard it is to earn those things if everything is given to them. They won’t learn to respect work and work itself. Sometimes, it’s preferable to lead them rather than to give them. Show them how to walk, yet let them follow their way. Read More Inspirational Stories Spread The Love Bed Time Stories Inspirational Stories Moral Stories Stories on Family Stories on Respect
