The Ugly Fairy

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Once upon a time, a fairy was studying to become a fairy godmother. Generally wizardry and magnificent, she was the most caring and cleverest of all fairies. But she was also a very unattractive fairy. Despite how many wonderful qualities she displayed, it appeared that everyone was determined to believe that a fairy’s beauty was the most important quality.

They didn’t pay her any attention at the fairy school, and whenever she flew off to help a child or someone else who was in trouble, they screeched and yelled at her before she could say a word: “Ugly! You weirdo, get out of here!”

She had often considered using her powerful magic to enhance her beauty despite the fact that she was only a small child. But then she thought back to the advice her mother had always given her: “My dear, you are exactly what you are, and never doubt that you are the way you are for a very special reason.”

But then, one day, the fairies and wizards of the neighboring land invaded, destroyed the country, and imprisoned everyone. Just before she was attacked, our fairy cast a spell on her clothes, and with the help of her ugly face, she was able to look like a witch. She was able to follow the witches back to their den in this manner.

She decorated the cave with bats, toads, and spiders using her magic once she got there to throw a big party for all of them. A bunch of crying wolves gave the music. The fairy dashed off and freed all of the wizards and fairies who had been held captive while the party was in full swing.

At the point when every one of them was free, they cooperated on one major spell, which prevailed with regard to catching the witches inside the mountain for the following hundred years. Everyone also reminisced about the ugly fairy‘s extraordinary bravery and intelligence over the following one hundred years.

And ever since that day, no one in that land ever considered being ugly to be a shame. People rejoiced every time someone ugly was born because they knew that great things were in store for them.

Moral of The Ugly Fairy Story

True beauty lies not in appearances but in one’s courage, intelligence, and kindness.
