March 2, 2023July 16, 2023 Love Beyond Words A girl’s family has been against her relationship with the boy since the beginning claiming that she will suffer for the rest of her life if she insists on being with the boy because of her family’s history. She often quarrels with him because of the pressure from her family. The young lady truly does cherish the boy. She used to ask him, “What amount do you adore me?” The boy was bad at speaking. Her mood deteriorates further as a result of her parents’ additional remarks. Her “anger-releasing target” is actually the boy now. And the boy just sat back and let her keep letting out her rage toward him. The boy later earned a university degree. He intended to continue his education abroad before departing. “I don’t know how to say nice words, but I do know that I love you,” he said when he proposed to the girl. “I will care for you throughout your life if you consent. About your relatives, I will strive to persuade them and settle on us.” “Marry me, please?” The girl concurred. When they saw the boy’s effort, her parents agreed with them. They finally get engaged before the boy goes overseas. The girl returns to her hometown and enters the working class while the boy continues his overseas education. Through correspondence and telephone calls, they maintained their relationship. Despite the difficulty passing the time, neither of them ever gave up. The girl went to work as usual one day, but on her way to the bus stop, a car lost control and hit her. She saw her parents as she awoke from her coma, realizing how badly she had been hurt and how fortunate she was not to be killed. She attempted to console her parents as she looked at them, their faces wet from tears. But then she realized that she couldn’t even spell a word. She tried her best to speak, but all she could do was breathe without speaking. According to the doctor, the injury affected her brain, rendering her mute for the rest of her life. The girl collapsed as she listened to her parents persuade her but couldn’t even speak. Even though it hasn’t been silently crying all day, it has been crying nonetheless. The girl was later released from the hospital. Everything is the same when she returns to her house. Except that the sound of the phone has become her worst nightmare. She is constantly stimulated and in pain by ring after ring, but she is unable to tell the boy. She didn’t want to be a burden to him, so she wrote him a letter saying that she didn’t want to wait any longer. Their relationship ended, and she even gave him the engagement ring back. She can only hold back the tears when she receives the boy’s letters and phone calls. After witnessing her suffering, her father made the decision to relocate. The young woman began to learn sign language, hoping she would forget everything and be happier in her new surroundings. Likewise, telling her to forget about the boy. Her best friend informed her that the boy had returned one day. He was looking everywhere for her. She asked her best friend to tell him to forget about her and not tell him anything about her. After that, there was no news about the boy for over a year. Later, she received a wedding card when her best friend told her the boy would soon marry. Despite her sadness, she opened the card and discovered her name on it. The boy appeared in front of her just as she was about to ask her best friend. “I spent more than a year forcing myself to learn sign language. Also, to let you know, I have not forgotten our promise. Give me an opportunity, and let me be your voice,” he said to her in an unfamiliar sign language. “I cherish you.” She finally smiled as she took in the boy’s slow sign language and the engagement ring she gave him back.
