Prayers Are Powerful

Keen and Joe were two best friends who once lived in the same place. They were extremely close colleagues. They attended the same school and lived nearby. In addition, in later years, they were coworkers at work.

They decided to embark on an exotic sea voyage one day. They travelled across vast distances on a cruise ship as they began their journey.

The weather changed drastically during their journey. In the middle of the ocean, the ship was destroyed. Even though many passengers perished, Keen and Joe were able to swim to an island nearby.

Since there were no trees, the island was completely deserted. Keen and Joe realized that they would not be able to survive on the island without the help of God. They chose to implore God.

Keen and Beam wanted to see whose request would be all the more impressive. Keen knelt at the eastern tip of the island, began praying there, and moved there. Joe decided to pray at the southwest tip of the island. Keen begged God to provide him with food so he could live. On the seashore, he found a heap of food, fruits, and vegetables, to his surprise.

He asked for a beautiful girl to be his wife after two days because he was feeling very alone on the island. Within a few hours, a beautiful girl was the only survivor of a shipwreck near the island. Keen wed the young woman. He received everything Keen prayed for.

Keen decided to relocate back to his hometown after a month. He prays to God for a ship to bring him back home. A ship arrived to bring Keen and his wife home, as he reported. Keen overheard someone speaking to him as the couple was about to board the ship. “All it was a voice. Are you leaving your lifelong companion behind?”

Keen was taken aback by what she heard and inquired, “May I know who is this? What do you mean by that? Have my wife alongside me!” “I’m the one to whom you offered your prayers, whom you asked to save your life, whom you asked for food, shelter, and, of course, a wife!” said the voice.

In awe, Keen knelt and exclaimed, “Thank you, God! Then, at that point, Keen recollected Beam, whom he had failed to remember this time. His guilt overcame him.

“I was not answering your prayers,” God told him. I was just satisfying Beam’s requests. He only prayed for one goal! He pleaded, “Please answer Keen’s prayers.” His only power was that.”

Keen rushed to the other side of the island, crying. He realized that he was happily living his own life and had completely forgotten about his dear friend Joe. Keen was unable to locate Joe there. God responded, “Where is Joe?” God answered, “I took him with me. I should be with the man with the golden heart! However, I will carry out my promise to him and answer all of your players!”

This completely broke Keen’s heart. He realized why the prayers of his friend were more effective. It was since Joe’s prayers were entirely selfless.
