Sparrow and A Banyan Tree

One day, a tiny sparrow was happily soaring in the sky. A hunter hit her with the stone suddenly. She fell when one of the sparrow’s wings broke. The sparrow tried her hardest to reach the sky, but she knew she couldn’t anymore.

“Now, what should I do? My family and friends are not present! With this broken wing, how will I ever return home?” she shared with herself.

As a result, she made the decision to spend the day in one of the nearby trees. She initially moved toward the banana tree. “Can I stay in your branches, banana tree? Please,” she inquired.

“Shoo! Stay away!” The banana tree said.

The bird limped away to the following tree. It was a guava tree.

“You foolish bird! I will not give you any room,” before the bird could respond, the guava tree yelled, “Get out of here!”

The poor bird was currently thoroughly heartbroken. “I’m not wanted! I have no companions!” she wept.

She heard a voice suddenly as she was walking. “Come to me!” said the voice. It was a banyan tree.

“Hello, tiny sparrow! I can be a friend to you. My branches have a lot of room for me. So you can easily remain there,” said the banyan tree.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Banyan,”

The bird smiled and said, “I’d love to stay with you.”

At that exact moment, a voice from the sky said, “Oh, banyan tree, you will be rewarded for your active kindness. You will climb the strongest tree and provide bird species with shelter. You will also carry on with an extremely lengthy life!”

Even today, the banyan tree is the most grounded of the multitude of trees.
