The Camel and Her Baby

A camel and her youngster were talking one day. “Mother, why do we have humps?” the infant asked. “My dear, we have humps to store water so that we can survive in the desert,” the mother responded.

The child responded, “Oh, and why do we have rounded feet, mother?” because their purpose is to make it easier for us to move around in the desert. We can move around in the sand with these legs.

“Alright. I understood, but, Why then, do our eyelashes grow so long? to shield our eyes from the sand and dust of the desert? The mother camel responded, “They are the covers that protect the eyes.”

“So we have humps to store water for desert journeys, rounded hooves to keep us comfortable when we walk in the desert sand, and long eyelashes to protect us from sand and dust during a desert storm,” the baby camel thought for a while before speaking. Then, in a zoo, what are we doing?

The mother was confused and didn’t get a proper answer to share with her baby.
