A wonderful musician once traveled through a vast forest far away with his fiddle. He had walked by himself for a very, very long time. He once regretted not having company along the way. By walking the long roads, he got tired. So, he played his fiddle as he sat down by a tree. Instantaneously, a large wolf passed by from the jungle. Watching the musician, the wolf came up to him. The wolf said, “I wish you could teach me to play like that.” However, the musician was against having a wolf as a companion. As a result, they walked together for some time, and at the first opportunity he had, he deceived the wolf into becoming entangled in the oak tree. The musician kept going as time passed. He regained his sense of isolation. So, he played his fiddle while sitting by a tree. A fox came by after hearing his lovely music. However, the musician did not desire a fox companion. As a result, they walked for quite some time. However, when he had the chance, he tied the fox to two bushes and left it there. Then, he resumed his walk, but he soon became alone. He played his fiddle near the tree in the hope that someone would come by. And a hare did, but he didn’t want a hare as his companion. So he tricked it into tying itself to a tree as they passed by. He played his fiddle by the tree when he got lonely once more. This time, a woodcutter came by after hearing his song. Because it was a human and not a beast, the musician was pleased and didn’t notice they had company. The wolf had freed himself in the interim. He had also done the same for the hare and the fox. The woodcutter stood directly in front of them with his axe just as they were about to attack the wonderful musician. Fear drove the animals to flee, and they never came back. After playing one more song for the woodcutter, the musician continued on his way.
