The Pig Prince’s Hidden Beauty

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Pig Prince’s Hidden Beauty is a story of a king and a queen who once lived in a land far away. The queen was visited by three fairies one night. The queen was presented with a few gifts by all three of them.

The first fairy assured the queen that no man would ever harm her. The second fairy informed the queen that she would be the wisest of all women. Additionally, the third fairy told her that she would bear a son who would be a pig. Further, the third fairy stated that the prince would remain that way until he married three women.

The queen did have a son at some point later.

He also had an exact piglike appearance. The king and queen initially considered killing their own son. However, they did not succumb to the love of their parents. He developed the ability to talk like a man as the child grew up.

Soon, he was talking like a man one second and wallowing in the mud the next. He would return with his parents to nuzzle whenever he did this. He also made them filthy as a result.

The prince told his mother one day that he wanted to marry her. The mother looked for a girl who was interested in marrying the pig prince, but none of them was interested.

As a final trial, she asked a woman to let her son marry her oldest child. The girl would become the kingdom’s queen in return. The mother convinced her daughter to wed the pig prince.

Despite the pig prince’s joy at seeing her, the pretty girl was disgusted. She devised a strategy to bring down the pig prince. However, after hearing about the plans, the prince killed her with his hooves. The fact that the prince had killed the girl upset the queen. But all he did was follow her instructions. As a result, she began looking for a new pig prince’s wife.

The pig prince now demanded to marry the girl, a younger sister of the first wife he had killed earlier. The queen was reluctant to inquire about the woman’s second child.

However, the prince was insistent. Additionally, he stated that if his mother did not grant his wishes, he would destroy everything. The younger sister also experienced the same thing.

The pig prince badly wanted to marry the woman’s youngest daughter next. She just happened to be the most charming of all. And she graciously accepted the prince’s proposal to wed her. She loved him after they got married. The prince never bothered her in any way.

The prince revealed his secret to her one day when he believed she had earned his trust. The prince revealed his attractive face by removing his pigskin. This went unnoticed. However, the girl soon informed the king and queen of their son’s pig’s skin.

The pig prince’s parents destroyed the pig’s skin the following day when the prince and his wife were sleeping.

The entire kingdom saw the prince in his true form. The prince and princess had a son shortly after that. The happy pig prince ruled from the throne. Additionally, he and his family lived happily ever after.

Moral of The Pig Prince’s Hidden Beauty Story

Sometimes, things are not always as they appear, and true love can come in unexpected forms. Love and acceptance can break any curse or barrier, and true beauty lies within.
