Timtim, “The Loser”

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Timtim was a naughty little boy reading in class one and did not have his mother. He liked to play all the time. He was carefree and not serious at all. Timtim was always scared of his father. Timtim did not want to study at all, and when his final results came, his father scolded him for failing each subject. Timtim cried and felt sad. But he still didn’t want to study. As Timtim failed in every subject, his classmates named and called him “The Loser.”

Timtim’s father called up a new tutor for him. Timtim did not like his new teacher and started making plans and thought of ideas for scaring his new teacher. He made a spider out of paper and kept it inside his homework copy. When the teacher opened the copy, she saw the paper spider and screamed so loud. The teacher got angry and complained to Timtim’s father. She left Timtim and didn’t want to teach him anymore.

Timtim’s friends called him “The Loser” and shouted at him every day. The school teacher said she would take a test within three days and, “If Timtim doesn’t score full marks this time, he will have to leave the school.” This time, both Timtim and Timtim’s father felt sad, and he tried to keep a new teacher for him once more.

A young lady teacher came to Timtim, and Timtim started to like her. She started training Timtim. Timtim listened to her and started working hard. Timtim had a challenge from his school teacher to prepare himself within three days and give a test. Timtim started learning new words, practiced sums, and also learned tables. He studied all day and night because he started loving his new teacher and wanted to prove to his friends and school teacher that he could score full marks.

Finally, it was the day Timtim had to appear for the test. His father and teacher wished him all the good luck. The school teacher started to ask tables and several questions. Fortunately, this time, Timtim could answer all and score full marks. Timtim, his father, and the school teacher were proud of him.

The boy was very happy to prove himself to his friends too. His school teacher gave him a bar of chocolate for his good results and congratulated him. Timtim also got a Big Toy-car from his father for his good results. Not only gifts, Timtim’s friends appreciated him too. Timtim got appreciation from everyone for his achievement.
