March 24, 2023July 16, 2023 A Princess’s Journey To Finding Her Palace Once, there was a kingdom in which an ancient prophecy predicted the Princess would not have a palace. The prophecy stated that when the Princess found her palace, she would become the most enlightened and fair Queen ever. That realm had an illustrious family who had lived in a wonderful royal residence for ages. However, a significant earthquake struck, destroying the royal residence and killing the King and Queen. Their daughters, Princess Sabina and Princess Nora made it through. After this tragedy, Nora realized that she might be the Princess predicted by the prophecy because she was the elder sister. Nora devoted herself to finding her new palace, accompanied by her sister. They met a wise old man on their travels who gave them an old key that would allow them to enter the palace. The old man replied, “I have no idea where the palace will be. All I know is that you should try this key wherever you seek it.” Nora went with her sister to the palace and tried the key on every door they found. They thought the palace might be a big, important house when there were no more palaces to try, but neither did the key. The sisters were fed up and gave up on finding their palace. No one now missed them because they had spent so much time away traveling and searching. They didn’t have any money or jewels left. So when they got to a poor village, they had to work in the fields with the rest of the poor, who took them in like they were two homeless orphans, unaware that the sisters were royalty. For some time, the sisters lived there. They buckled down and understood what yearning was and how troublesome life could be. Yet individuals cherished a lot that they became exceptionally cheerful and steadily failed to remember their illustrious past. Sabina discovered the old key one night while organizing Nora’s belongings. She showed it to her sister, who was amused, and they talked about their search for a magnificent palace. With a glimmer of optimism, Nora stated, “There must be some palace, hidden in some little forest, just waiting for us to find it.” Her younger sister responded, “Well, you know what I think: I don’t need anything else to be happy. Even though we don’t have much, I’ve never been happier than now, even though we traveled from castle to castle for months to live the life of Queens.” Jolly dancing by the door, she continued, “it would be this little cabin if I had to choose a palace.” She laughed and then put the key in the cabin door with a solemn gesture. A wonderful palace bursting with color and life emerged from that old door just as the room was filled with music and lights. The location underwent a total transformation. Animals, gardens, and fountains were all present. All of this amazed the people living in the village. The main thing which stayed as it had been was the lodge entryway, helping everybody to remember Sabina the Brilliant. They called her their savvy Sovereign. Sabina had found that in a basic, humble life lay the entryway to bliss, for self-purposes, yet for every one of the occupants of that land.
