March 25, 2023July 16, 2023 The Sword and A Selfish Friend Bhola and Bhanu, two friends, once lived in a village. They both had to go to a different village for work one day. On their way, Bhola saw a delightful sword hanging by a tree. He quickly grabbed it and exclaimed, “What a beautiful sword I have found!” joyfully. “We both are traveling together, so you should say that we have found a beautiful sword,” his friend Bhanu interrupted him at this point. Bhola answered, “Goodness no, I saw this sword and got it. Consequently, it is solely mine.” He said this while keeping that sword close by. After that, Bhanu stopped talking, and the two of them started moving forward. At one point, when they were going to arrive at another town, many individuals showed up in front of them. Suddenly, one of those individuals grabbed Bhola by the neck and declared, “I caught him. He is the murderer.” “He has a sword used for murder in our village.” “My friend, we are caught in trouble,” Bhola said to Bhanu. Bhanu responded, “No, not us. Only you got yourself into trouble.” At that point, individuals began to transport Bhola to jail. Bhanu apologized to his friend and clarified the misunderstanding brought about by the sword. He got Bhola out of the mess. Later, Bhola thanked Bhanu for helping him through a difficult time and offered an apology to him for his selfish behavior.
